Once music is uploaded to the archive servers, the performances are put into a mass library and is in the public domain and available for unlimited universe-wide free distribution. That is why we need the OK from the band and/or management to allow DJ Logic to be part of the work being done. This is a non-commercial website, however, there is always the chance that people may try and use this resource for profit, which is out of the control once the music is downloaded. The thing that makes this server a little different from the regular website is that music is not actually stored on etree, as it is here in the archive. More information can be found at if wanted. The Internet Archive is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit that was founded to build an Internet library, with the purpose of offering permanent access for researchers, historians, and scholars to historical collections that exist in digital format. Since the objective of the site is to serve as a library for music, it's available for use by all of the public for trading and listening purposes. I know i have seen shows of DJ Logic, but the reason i am asking for a policy is because there is a website, that is acting as a library for music. My name is Philip Lucks and i am writing because i am curious as to what your taping policy is. RIGHTS On November 11, 2002, DJ Logic's manager replied re the Archive:
